2014 Calendar the Beauty of New York State now available

For all of you who follow me, you know I have done a calendar each year now for six years. This calendar is different than most calendars, especially from photographers. It is not a large wall calendar, but a small calendar that sits in its own stand, the CD case it comes in. Open in up, and the stand displays each month. Simply move the last month to the back, and display the current month. At a glance see the days of the week. It only takes up about 6" on your desk or table. Great along side your computer. 2014 Calendar in opened case

Twelve different images, this year all showing the Beauty of New York State. From Niagara Falls and the Erie Canal in Western New York, to the Adirondacks with Lake George, Tupper Lake, and Schroon Lake, and the Hudson River from the start as a small stream to along the Walkway over the Hudson with Hot air Balloons. See Awosting Falls in winter, with ice cascading off the Falls, and the pool and stream covered in ice and snow.

It started as a labor of love, a hand made calendar in a CD case with 12 images, and the days of the month. I could not find a template or a guide, so I worked on improving my Photoshop skills with images, text, placement and alignment (Remember, I am one of the few photographers still using Windows). Yes, I struggled through that multiple and cute font period like most of us do. But I got it done. Printed out separate pages on my Epson R1800, cut each one, and assembled it. Lots of time, but gave them as gifts to friends and family, and fellow photographers. along the way improved (and my Photoshop skills improved as well). Found a great local printer in Gray Printing. They are wonderful. Called me when a file size seemed strange. What internet printer would give your work a second glance? Printed, cut and colated the work. Very prompt and very reasonable. Gave more away, and started to get interest to sell them. I have had them at Craft Shows, sold by word of mouth, and now on line.
