William F. Bogle, Jr.
Photographer and printer.
I have studied and practiced photography and black and white printing for over twenty years. I learned to print in a black and white darkroom, and enjoy that process in the digital age. I work in traditional black and white wet darkroom processes, color slide and print, and digital images. My color landscapes favor the beauty of the Hudson Valley, fall foliage and snow. My black and white prints show the beauty and depth of shadows and the differences in light. I have attended workshops, studied books, and original prints of my favorite photographers. I have been influenced by David Vestal, Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Jerry Monkman, Dan McCormick and many others.
